Lecrae Performs MLK Tribute Version Of “Welcome To America” On “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”

Description: On Friday night, Lecrae featured on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” for a second time, performing a full song at the conclusion of the late night show. Joining Crae were drummer Nate Robinson and the Anomaly-tour’s DJ Promote in a Martin Luther King, Jr.-tribute rendition of “Welcome To America.” The version of the Anomaly favorite included segments of a speech from MLK. Many have said the performance of the song, and its altered rendition, was the proper choice, considering the current production of the music video for the song, the approaching MLK holiday, and recent release of the movie Selma.
